Panoramic View Monitor

Prius’ available Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) helps you check your surroundings for hazards. It uses four cameras, one on each side of the vehicle, to display a panoramic view on the touchscreen display.

Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Prius’ blind spot on either side. When you’re in reverse, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and an audio tone.

Integrated Backup Camera

Put Prius in reverse, and the standard backup camera automatically activates to help show you what’s behind your vehicle on the available 12.3-in. multimedia display.

Safe Exit Alert

By using radar sensors inside the rear bumper, Safe Exit Alert (SEA) helps detect approaching vehicles from the rear. If the system determines that there may be a collision with a door opening, it will provide an audible alert, as well as a visual alert that will appear on the side mirrors.
